OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR: CLOSING DATE 04.02.22

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Planning shipments based on product availability and customer requests.
    • Tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries.
    • Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders etc).
    • Coordinate our supply chain procedures.
    • Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers.
    • Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed.
    • Dealing directly with retail customers, distributors, suppliers and third-party storage providers to ensure the smooth completion of all orders and shipments, the timely issue of invoices and that POs are booked in on time. This will involve the thorough understanding of all retailer portals and shipping guidelines..
    • Maintaining inventory accuracy including PI counts and organising stock takes as deemed appropriate.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

      • Good problem-solving skills and lateral thinking.
      • Excellent communication skills and calm under pressure.
      • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise.
      • Must be proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel.

      • Competitive salary of £18,000 - £21,000 depending on experience.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATOR: CLOSING DATE 04.02.22

This role assumes responsibility for customer service and sales administration to support the success of the wider team. The candidate must be an exceptional communicator with a passion for building and maintaining relationships. They will be self-motivated and eager to support the entire WE ARE PARADOXX team to reach ambitious goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the sales team by managing requests for retailer and distributor marketing assets, liaising with the Design Team to ensure timely delivery; and undertaking quarterly website checks to ensure these remain up to date. In addition, online retailers should be monitored for any new reviews which should be logged on a master document; and any ‘out of stock’ products to ensure stock replenishment is supported.
    • Responsibility for all sales administration required to support new and existing retail partners. This includes, but is not limited to, completing new line forms for product listings, weekly sales data reporting, processing orders through the Quickbooks accounting system and sending them to the warehouse, completing Retailer Compliance documents/questionnaires, and organising and recording all retailer free of charge sample mail outs.
    • Take ownership of our customer relations, including but not limited to, managing incoming customer queries via email and phone; and supporting the website requirements with regards to customer experience.
    • Organise TV Shopping shows, including but not limited to, booking models and hairdressers, and ensuring all on-air assets are up to date and produced as per requirements specified.
    • Responsibility for general admin including the ordering of office supplies and distributing post.

REQUIREMENTS

      • Minimum of 2 years proven working experience in office or office administration role.
      • Excellent outward and internal communication skills.
      • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
      • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Junior Designer - Job Role - role based in head office, Belfast

 

In this role, you will support the Design function of the business. You will be liaising with high profile retailers, printing agencies, and other design-related companies as part of your daily routine. Additionally, you will participate in team meetings and decision making around brand and business development, forward planning and business progress reviews.

 

You will be expected to bring passion, drive and innovation to your role; monitoring competitors and the general marketplace on an ongoing basis to support the brand to maintain its position in the market and grow rapidly in line with forecasted expectations.

 

You will assist with the company’s global growth, with a specific focus on building the UK business and establishing the brand in the USA. Your specific role will focus on brand development, and the establishment of consistency and innovation in the marketing materials we produce, both in-store, online and in print.

 

You will be working daily to the Head of Design, Laura McCurry - your first port of call for all concerns, requests and progress queries.

 

What the role entails:

  • Assisting in the delivery of all digital and print design requirements efficiently and to a high standard. 
  • Regular use of design and image editing software including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Exposure to the design industry and its various responsibilities.
  • Opportunities to assist with product shoots.
  • Designing/producing on-brand print marketing material - Store graphics, POS, signage, etc.
  • Designing/producing on-brand digital assets - banners, email layouts, image editing / cropping.
  • Liaison with suppliers to raise quotes and ensure print specifications are met.
  • Support the Head of Design in maintaining the image and asset database, adding new product shots and assets that portray the brand accurately.

 

What is expected of you:

  • Continuous monitoring of your own output, assessing it in line with our brand guidelines, retailer specifications and the market competition.
  • Ongoing desire to broaden your design knowledge and learn new skills.
  • Ability to organise, multitask and manage time.
  • Ability to work quickly from concept creation to finished product.
  • Awareness of the best design methods, software and techniques to use on any given project.
  • Willingness to take constructive criticism and produce quality work.
  • To pitch unique ideas for design projects.

Essential

  • Degree in design, communication or a related field.
  • At Least 1 year experience is preferred - Candidates with no industry experience may be considered based on quality of design portfolio.
  • High quality portfolio showcasing a variety of designs and projects.
  • Strong creative and strategic awareness: creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense with an excellent eye for detail.
  • Strong graphic design skills: understanding of and experience in branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both print and digital media.
  • Proactive and able to multitask and work in a fast paced moving industry.
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
